Quick visit to Charlies

Bella was walking around Forks, very slowly, when she decided that she hadn't seen her dad in a while, well more than a while. She decided to pay him a visit, taking out her old key and walking through the door. Everything seemed quite. "Dad? You in?" She shouted, she hadn't had much hope after his car was gone. She sighed and took a quick look around the house, not bad condition, could use a clean though. She sat herself down on the sofa and turned on the television to see some basketball being recorded. "Great." She mumbled and put the remote down, sighing slightly.

Edward Cullen sighed as he stepped out of his car.Carlisle's car actually.He had borrowed it to look more..look more..well human.He shut the door and started up the path towards Bella's front door."Bella"He smiled to himself.The love of his life.The one girl he had gladly given his heart too.How had this one girl have changed his life so much.She wasn't even a vampire when they first met and yet.She had had this hold on him that would last for all eternity.His own brand of Heroin he had compared her to.He laughed at the precious memory..the day she found out what he really was.
He carried on up to her door and knocked lightly.He knew se would have heard him coming but he did it out of courtesy rather than need.He had missed her so much this weekend.He,his brothers and Carlisle had gone for a hunting trip.The girls hadn't been invited.Emmet was being immature and had insited that we all needed to be away from our wives for a weekend.So it meant he had seen Bella for three days.But it was too long.He couldn't bear to be apart from his other half and his beautiful daughter..Renesme.
The creak of the front door pulled him out of his reverie and he held his breath as he waited for Bella to open it.He never got over her beauty and it always took the breath out of him when he saw her.His Angel,his gift from God,HIS Bella.

Alice Climbed out of the car, She was hopeing that she would be able to surprise Bella, also she wanted a shopping partner for the day, " BELLA " She looked to see if it made ether Bella or Edward move, Sadley it didnt. "Cheat" she muttered to Edward.

Edward took Bella's hand and squeezed it tightly."I've missed you.."He kissed her head and traced his lips down the length of her jaw."I love you..Mrs Cullen."He added.
He stopped as he heard Alice walk up beside him.He turned slightly."Alice..it can wait.Go away."He pushed her away and turned back to face Bella."Sooo...where were we." He was about the kiss her when Alice tapped his shoulder.He turned fully this time."Alice..."He warned and hissed slightly to back up the fact that he really meant it."Stop."He hissed.

Jasper sat in the car and sensed the mood the conversation was taking. He unrolled the window and called "Alice, leave him be" Seeing he got no reply he opened the door and ran up behind Alice and grabbed her waist. He leant down and whispered in her ear. "Come on Alice, you'd have more fun with me" and walked half dragging Alice back to the car.

He mouthed a silent thankyou to Jasper and now,with Alice safely out of the way he turned his attention to Bella.He grabbed her in a tight embrace and kissed he passionatly locking his fingers into her beautiful brown hair.He spoke inches away from her face in a whisper."Now would you like to go and visit Renesme.Carlisle went back to measure her so she's back with him now.We could go up and check she alright.Also.."He paused to pull her closer."I want to know what you've been up to without me and..i KNOW you wont tell me but she will."He grinned at her and locked one arm firmly around her waist.He pulled her onto the porch,shutting the door behind him."Now.."He grinned.He unhooked his arm and held it out gesturing for her to link with him."..Shall we?"

Jasper held the door open for Alice to get in and went round to the driver's seat. "Do you think Edward'll notice if I steal the car?" he glimpsed back at the two lovers standing on the doorstep. He laughed "I don't think they'd notice if the house got burnt down around them." He grinned at Alice,knowing that he wouldnt have to tamper with her mood to get what he wanted he fastened his seatbelt. "I cant make it home in around three minutes if you let me drive fast." He whispered reaching over to kiss Alice

She smiled "your right" she kissed him lightly, "well as i'm feeling dangerous today go ahead just dont get caught!" She was starting to worry but thanks to Jasper she relaxed.

Jasper needed no more than that and floored the accelerator slightly turning the wheel now and then to go round corners. He laughed to himself. "Well.. at least he's happy you wouldn't know what trouble he put us through this weekend." He took one hand off of the whhel and placed it on Alice's. "At least when I miss you I hide it a bit better." He suddenly stopped the car and was round Alice's side in a flash. He held the door open for her.

(Occ. sorry Bex is busy right now but she is pyjama-ing tomorrow.)

Bella was too lost in Edwards beautiful eyes to notice anything or anyone around her. She giggled, slightly too girly, when he said 'Mrs Cullen' she still had't got used to it. "Oh you know me, I wasn't up to much, went to see Jacob for a while then wanted to catch Charlie before he left for work, I think I just missed him." Bella grinned widely and kissed him back passionately, pulling away slowly. "I missed you..alot." She whispered and looked up at him, his golden eyes glistening, his pale skin, everything about him was just, perfect. "Checking up on Renesme sound great, I misse her aswell, maybe even more than you." She smiled cheekily and linked his arm, smiling broadly.

Edward frowned slightly when she said she had been to visit Jacob.He should be used to it now seeming as he had imprinted on his daughter, but he still felt quite jealous of her feelings for him.He shook his head as if to shake the thoughts away and grinned at her."Well.." He sighed."As much as I owe Jasper for getting rid of Alice...He stole our car."He frowned."So..Do you fancy a run?" He smiled again and kissed the top of her head.

Jasper took Alice's hands in his own and pulled her towards the door to the Cullen 'mansion'. "I think that they are out hunting" he smiled "That or Renesmee wanted taking out"

As charlie drove towards the house he noticed that the front door was wide open. There was no sign of life in the house but he pulled out his gun anyway. As he crept slowly towards the door, Bella practically flew down the stairs at him. Very relieved to see his daughter still standing he gave her a massive hug and beamed at her. "Where's my grandaughter then? I haven't seen her in a while."

Edward climbed out of the car holding Renesme under one arm.He strolled up the path toward Charlie."Hello Charlie."He said politely.He passed him Renesme and took Bella's hand and spoke."Are you ready Bella?"He kissed Renesme's head and whispered to her."I love you.I'll pick you up later okay?Have a good day with Grampa."He walked hand in hand with Bella and held open the door for her to get in.

"And where are you kids off to on such a fine day?" Charlie asked. "Not that i'm complaining because i love spending time with my extra special Grandaughter! Next time though no breaking in please,Bella, u'll give your old man a heart attack one of these days!"

Edward grinned a reasuring smile."Don't worry chief.Me and Bella are off to Port Angeles to shop.Alice is meeting us there."He winked."Should be fun.You know Alice."He rolled his eyes and started the engine.He was in Rosalie's italian Porsche so the noise was increadible.He laughed aat Charlie's face as he drove off hand in hand with Bella.

Charlie thought "yes.. I know Alice..." He grinned. He really like Alice because she was completely nuts and always very polite.. unlike Edward...
Charlie waved to his daughter and then turned into the house babbling away to Renesmee. He had learned to talk alot as Renesmee rarely did. She was getting better though, and she was learning so quickly! When Bella told him that she was "special" he decided it was better not to ask too many questions. But those eyes.. those beautiful eyes.. Bella had those same eyes once before she got "ill." He had worked with the police too long to know when something wasn't quite right. In some ways, he was glad that he was in the dark about all of this.
Charlie shook his head as if waking up out of a bad dream. Renesmee sat there beaming at him. He smiled back and said "what shall we do today then?"

Renesmee had mastered the art of dumming down around humans. Normal 1 year old children shouldn't look like 3 year olds or talk much for that matter. She couldn't resist talking though so she stuck to two or three words maximum. She smiled dazzlingly at him and said "food!" She loved watching Charlie cook because he cooked like a human. Sure everyone cooked at home for her but it was different with Charlie. She turned away from him when she got slightly sentimental because she imaged her Jacob sitting at the counter with her 'wolfing' down his food like a bottomless pit. She really missed her Jake.
